Measured Performance, Responsible Reporting

BCI Minerals is developing systems and structures to measure and report against our most material ESG impacts. This includes tracking key performance indicators across all four pillars of our Sustainability Framework, and aligning our reporting with global standards such as GRI and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) as they are adopted in Australia.

We are committed to transparent and accountable reporting on our sustainability progress. Our performance against defined goals, targets, and initiatives will be publicly reported every year as part of our sustainability report.

Environmental and Social Management System

BCI uses an Environmental and Social Management System to ensure compliance and manage stakeholder engagement. The ESMS and its supporting documents constitute a flexible management approach that is based directly on International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standard 1 (PS 1)1 and can readily accommodate the changing needs of the Project.

In addition to the requirements of PS 1 the ESMS has been developed in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 14001 environmental management systems standard. ISO 14001 is the internationally recognised standard for developing an environmental management system that enables an organisation to enhance its environmental performance, fulfil its compliance obligations and achieve its environmental objectives.
