PILB SUMMIT 2022 FINALS 0276 1

We are proud to share the signing of our inaugural partnership agreement with the City of Karratha, providing support to community events and programs within the town over the rest of the year.

Our agreement has seen us sponsor the Cossack Art Awards, donating prize money for the ‘works on paper’ category. Along with this event, we will also sponsor the FeNaCING Festival, smaller community grants and support to the Medical Services Housing Subsidiary.

BCI’s Managing Director, Alwyn Vorster, says BCI is proud to be a part of the Karratha community and to support such vital local initiatives.

“Community events and programs, such as those being supported through the City of Karratha and BCI partnership, support the sustainability of vibrant communities across Western Australia.”

City of Karratha Mayor, Peter Long, says the partnership will support critical services and community events, providing necessary funding to the arts, youth and indigenous programs.

“With funding like this, we’re able to ensure value is created for the community and aids in taking steps towards becoming Australia’s most liveable regional city.”

Supporting the local communities where we operate is not only a vital part of our social licence to operate, but an important aspect for our business to build key relationships with local communities and businesses.

This partnership is an important start to our partner portfolio, and we are excited about the doors it will open for us, and the support we can deliver to both the Pilbara and Perth communities.
