BCI are Diamond Sponsors of the Karratha & Districts Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KDCCI) and were delighted to recently host our first Business After Hours event in Karratha.
The Business After Hours events are designed to connect local organisations and community leaders; strengthening relationships and opening doors for future collaboration.
Representing BCI at the event were members of our Karratha, Perth and Mardie teams, who shared progress updates of the Mardie Project with business and community representatives, including insights into the construction of the Mardie Village, Primary Seawater Intake and construction progress at our Ponds.
At BCI, we understand the importance of developing and maintaining meaningful, long-term relationships with communities where we do business. This is fundamental to our social licence to operate and one of our core values.
Our local procurement and engagement strategy is aimed at encouraging and supporting local and regional employment and business opportunities, and the BCI team were delighted to meet our important community stakeholders and discuss future opportunities at the Project.
